Top Tiki Cocktails in Rank Order
This list is “standardized”, meaning that these are cocktails you should typically find at any tropical or tiki bar. There are many places (now closed) that featured their own creations which were often far better than any of these standards. But since they were proprietary, and the recipes were often a secret, there is not really a way to order a “Rainbow” from Mother of Pearl and go to another tiki bar and ask them to make it. So these are my personal rankings of the most common tiki drinks for which there is a known recipe. I was tempted to take the more tropical and/or Caribbean cocktails off the list, such as a Daiquiri or Mojito, etc., but for now they are included:
- Mai Tai
- Jet Pilot
- Zombie
- Saturn
- Navy Grog
- Painkiller
- Mojito
- Rum Barrel
- Blue Hawaiian
- Pina Colada
- Jungle Bird
- Daiquiri
- Planter’s Punch
- Singapore Sling
- Fog Cutter
- Cuba Libre
- Martiki
- Manta Ray
- Three Dots & A Dash
