A 1950s cocktail from Trader Vic’s. It has also been called an Eastern Sour, but this version is from Chan’s Dragon Inn and uses the Italian Liquore Galliano. It is abetter than the Western Sour. More flavor, more depth, and the orgeat helps.
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 2 ounces fresh orange juice
- 1/2 ounce orgeat
- 1/2 ounce Liquore Galliano
Shake with a generous amount of crushed ice and sour into a large rocks glass. Garnish with used orange shell.
