Elvis Presley

Elvis Presley

January 8, 1935  – –  August 16, 1977

Elvis is as synonymous with Hawaii as much as Vegas. Even on most tropical drink menus you can find a cocktail named after his movie, Blue Hawaii.  Elvis loved Hawaii.  Elvis’ home Graceland (now a museum), there is “The Jungle Room” which has the largest collection of WITCO furniture and decor in the world.  It is a whole room with chairs, tables, a cabinet, and a tiki bar with tiki stools.

Elvis was famous for so many things, but mostly extravagant tastes in nearly everything, including food. One of the foods he is famous for is a grilled peanut butter, bacon and banana.

The Polynesian in Manhattan even had a cocktail in honor of him with coconut peanut butter syrup, bourbon, and banana rum.
