Hotel Nacional Especial
The Hotel Nacional in Cuba was the largest luxury hotel in 1930 when it opened. This cocktail was created by Will P. Taylor, who was the former manager of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel before prohibition set in. The Hotel Nacional was the CREDIT: PDT Cocktail App
- 2 ounces 8 year rum (I used El Dorado Demerara)
- 1 ounce pineapple juice
- 1/2 ounce lime juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 1/4 ounce Rothman & Winter Apricot Liqueur
Shake well with ice, double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Lime slice garnish.
