Lani Honi

I really love interesting liqueurs that were once common but now seemingly obscure.  Benedictine is one of them.  I can drink it straight, but as much as I love the flavor profiles, it is too dominating in this drink.  You can barely taste the lemon or the rum.  The Bénédictine is front and center here.  It is still a good cocktail, no doubt, but it is good if you want a short, quick, strong cocktail that is not bitter or bites too hard for something that is mostly alcohol.
