This is a prohibition cocktail revived by Ted Saucier around 1951.  It is equal parts of all the ingredients below. However, as someone who really dislikes Maraschino liqueur, I would use half that amount, maybe even 1/4 of an ounce.  I find that it is a bully in a cocktail, just like allspice, too much lime, etc.  It steals the show, or in this case, the cocktail. However, if you just reduce the amount, its a much more pleasant cocktail.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ounce London Dry Gin
  • 1 ounce Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
  • 1 ounce Green Chartreuse
  • 1 ounce lime juice

Shake well with ice, double strain into a chilled coupe.  No garnish.
