Western Sour

Western Sour

Originally featured at Steve Crane’s Koi-Tiki chain circa 1950s. It is featured in the Beachbum Berry Total Tiki app, but this is a variation. For example, you really cannot find white grapefruit often any more. So any grapefruit will do.  I much prefer the Eastern Sour in this case.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 1 ounce grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce falernum
  • 1/4 ounce simple syrup

Shake with ice cubs and pour into a rocks glass. No garnish.
